Precise Transport is proud to be a family-owned company, and we strive to treat our employees and customers as part of that family. We’re one of the longest-serving logistics companies in the Bakken, having started operations there in 2008. We expanded operations to the Powder Horn Basin in 2018 and then into the Permian Basin in 2020.
Locations
Precise Transport serves clients in oilfields and shale plays across the U.S.
We have offices in Minot, North Dakota; Douglas, Wyoming; and Monahans, Texas, and we serve those states as well as Montana, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Utah.
By having regionally based operations, we’re able to offer better service, strategic operations, and improved communication. We place field supervisors in each region who coordinate with dispatch, customers, and drivers and ensure safety standards are met. They maintain communication with dispatchers regarding the job’s status and any impacts to truck flow to ensure seamless operations.

Tim Smith
President/CEO
Tim founded Precise Transport and Precise Transport Logistics to initially serve the Bakken, and he has grown it to serve customers across 10 states. His trucking industry experience dates to 1996, and he’s been involved with hauling frac sand since 2006. He can be reached at Tim@PreciseSand.com.
Greg Lukenbach
Director of Operations
Since June 2012, Greg has helped with our business success and growth as a valuable part of the team. He manages our ND location, and he oversees daily operations in all regions. Justin Krueger
Field Operations Manager
Justin joined the Precise Transport team in November 2020 and continues to work closely with our team while helping manage the logistics of our ever-growing business. He manages our Field Team that operates in all regions and continues to increase in size to provide customers with excellent service.
